Bangkok University is affiliated with several highly reputed universities which have given their full support in terms of exchanging ideas regarding educational formats and development, curriculum and teaching methods, including relevant materials as well as research work. In addition, many collaborative agreements have been initiated with universities from around the world.

Exchange Program Requirements:
- Must have Bangkok University undergraduate student status with GPA of 2.75+
- Must have good record of conduct and good health
- Must be able to afford overseas living expenses
- Must have TOEFL, IELTS, or JLPT scores (if applicable)
Student’s responsibilities:

- Travel and Living Expenses
- Insurance Coverage
- Tuition and Fees at Bangkok University
Conditions:
- Study one or two semesters at affiliated overseas institutions.
- Application and tuition fees at overseas institutions are waived.
- Tuition and other fees are paid at normal Bangkok University rates for the equivalent number of enrolled credits.
- Credits earned at overseas institutions are transferable to Bangkok University.
- Appropriate English Proficiency Test scores are required.
Procedures
- Submit an Exchange Student Application Form with other documents to International Center.
- International Center will organize oral examinations for exchange student candidates.
- International Center will post an official announcement of selected participants on the BU website.
- Selected participants will complete an application form for the overseas institution and work on the course selection for their exchange semester.
- International Center will coordinate with affiliated overseas institutions in processing the applications. After that, students will be informed of their admission status.
- International Center will prepare a letter to request a student visa from the applicable foreign embassy in Bangkok.
- After International Center receives the acceptance packet, students will be informed to prepare for visa application procedures, traveling plan, and etc.
- Students make their travel arrangements, book plane tickets and apply for a student visa (under supervision of International Center staff).
- Bangkok University will arrange for the approval of courses selected by the exchange student as well as request tuition fee calculation from the Financial Affairs Office.
- Student makes the tuition fee payment in the form of a Cashier’s checks payable to Bangkok University.
