A Thai Education Visa is known as a Non-Immigrant ED (Non-ED) Visa. This visa is for foreign students who intend to stay in Thailand for the purpose of attending a recognized full-time educational course.

How to Apply

To apply for a Non-Immigrant ED Visa you must be accepted by school/university recognized by the Thai Government on a full-time educational course, training program, or internship in Thailand.

To apply for Non-Immigrant ED Visa, you must make your application at a Thai Embassy or Consulate in your home/residential country and submit the following documents:

     1. A passport with at least 6-month validity from the planned date of arrival in Thailand

     2. 2 passport-sized photos (4 x 6 cm) taken within the last 6 months

     3. A completed visa application form

     4. Evidence of enrolment (receipts of tuition fee payments).

     5. School registration documents.

New Students:

Student informs the name of the Thai Embassy/Consulate that student would like to apply for a visa.

 

Documents Required:

     1. A photocopy of your passport (Identification page and stamped page)

     2. Official registration receipt of the current or upcoming semester

     3. High School Transcript and High School Diploma (For Undergraduate Students Only)

     4. A letter of acceptance to the school or academic institute/organization (For Graduate Students Only)

 

Current Students:

Student informs the name of the Thai Embassy/Consulate that student would like to apply for a visa.

 

Documents Required:

     5. A photocopy of your passport (Identification page and stamped page)

     6. Official registration receipt of the current or upcoming semester

     7. Official Transcript and Student Certificate
