Bangkok University maintains an infirmary for first-aid care. Medical attention for minor and intermediate cases is given by doctors and nurses at the University. The University provides a temporary recuperation room free of charge for sick students. When hospital attention is required, those needing medical attention are transferred to the nearby hospitals.
1. The doctor is on duty on: Monday - Saturday during 13:00 - 16:00 hrs.
2. The nurse is on duty on: Monday - Saturday during 8:30 - 20:00 hrs.
The University takes a precaution for accidents occurring to students, so all students are advised to have an accident insurance with Muang Thai Insurance Company. The students will be ensured 24 hours a day for on academic year. The maximum coverage for death is 100,000 baht and 30,000 baht for medical care per each accident.
Documents required
In case of injury, students may file for reimbursement at the Student Services Center, Building A6, Floor 1 by attaching the medical certificates and medical receipts together with the claim form. All processing must be done within 52 weeks after the incident. The student must report the injury within 24 hours.
In the case of death, the beneficiary may bring the following documents to the Educational Service and Student Welfare Office at either campus.
