Thailand’s currency is the Baht, which is made up of 100 Satang. While Satang coins (25 and 50 Satang) still exist, they’re mostly used in large supermarkets where exact prices aren’t rounded to the nearest Baht.
You’ll find a variety of coins in everyday use, including 1, 2, 5, and 10 Baht. The 2 Baht coin can be easily mistaken for the 1 Baht coin due to their similar size, though the 2 Baht coin has a gold color to help distinguish it.
